Angle Inlet Parade

This is how we make a float up North. Kind of like Apple Blossom in Wenatchee, but 22 degrees and no crowd control.

That is Rick's brother Brian driving. I haven't had any pictures of him on the blog yet, elusive creature that he is. Maybe I'll do a whole Bio on just him. He would love that, I just know it.

This looks like they're surfing. I wonder if we could make that happen........

It got ugly when the ride was over and the kids each had to go home. Silly little addicts.

  3. We could start with the brief time period when he was 8 or so and must have found clothing was too restrictive and spent large parts of the day in his undies

  4. In his defense, I should add Brian was never embarrassed about his behavior...he just marched to his own drummer that was in a band that the rest of us sometimes did not get the same listening enjoyment out of as he did....and that drummer could keep a REALLY long and unhinging beat....and sometimes you just wanted to take the drummer's sticks and beat him with them....you get the picture...I really say all this with love.

Now I feel guilty....but will make up for all my stories with the very true fact that Brian made me laugh more than any other person at the Angle and was probably the most good-natured, honest, and fun co-worker I ever had. I mean, what other 21 year old would clean cabins with you while singing the Nicole Kidman part in moulin rouge so you could take the male lead....I probably have just made things worse...I will stop now. No more tales of Brian. Suffice it to say, Jenny, you are a lucky woman.

  5. Janie, that is a completely accurate description. Thank you for putting into words. One of Brian's favorite (probably favorite, who am I kidding) wedding present was a Lego kit. He put it together immediately and it wasn't too long ago that all of the Legos were out on the living room floor. He gets made when Ava destroys his Lego creations.

It has always been my intention to minimize my publicity on this blog. As we will be unable to stay out of almost every other aspect of each others lives I was going to leave this as "Lisa's space". This unfortunately has become impossible due to the recent attacks upon my soul. This libel must not be allowed to continue. I would like to officially renounce all comments made by Janie and my wife from the creation of this blog to the ending of time.

Unofficially.....that was a super fun day and I remember it well. My brother does not share your enthusiasm for duets that working in the garage so desperately requires.

  7. Not to abuse Lisa's blog.....but....
Brian, I respect you wanted to let this be lisa's space, and I don't want to infringe on it any more than you do. However, to be libel, one has to have said something slanderous and untrue. Let's face it, I speak truth.

Jenny, after 15 years of working with Brian, I can honestly say there were times it iwas only be God's grace that I did not suck every single one of them up the oreck and claim it to be an accident (let's face it, with my track record do breaking things, it would have been believable).

I promise this will be my last "slander" about Brian...unless the opportunity arises to tell the tale of the 90 minute car ride and a bag of chips....but that one needs to be told in person.
