This is Jenny, the other cabin girl. She is Rick's sister-in-law. (Is she mine as well?) We are the dynamic duo now. Sorry to say that she is the more dynamic of the two. I'm just so slow. We cleaned the duplex (cabins 4 and 5) today and each took a side. She had her 2 week old baby with her and fed him, and still finished before me and vacuumed my half. Maybe there is some kind of rigorous cabin girl training camp I could go to or some extra nightly calisthenics. I bet there's an app for that.
She has told me she often finds pills left behind in the cabins and googles them to see what they are. Apparently fisherman take a lot of anti-diarrhea medication. I'm thinking we could start our own little business on the side and sell them, some freelance pharmacology.
i'm a nerd and know that technically, she is your husband's sister-in-law. or your brother-in-law's wife. rules be damned, i call everyone what i want when i want. you can too.
ReplyDeleteThe dynamic will come. Every spring when I came back to work, the first cabins of the year would take me FOREVER ( as in two hours to clean the duplex......one side). I think it has to do with muscle memory (literally and figuratively). That will be one nice thing about being open year round, you won't have 6-9 months to "forget."
ReplyDeleteSo loving this blog. I am living vicariously through you.
Someone needs to explain the link between fishing and diarrhea......seriously!
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure the diarrhea is a result of an abundance of fried fish and copious amounts of booze to which they are not accustomed to.
DeleteWell that makes sense - gross!
